Veterinarian
Dr. Marshall was born and raised in Las Vegas, NV and graduated from the University of Nevada, Reno with both a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Biotechnology, where he then went on to an extensive research career working over in Galveston, TX. His wife, Clare, joined the US Air Force which led them to Virginia for her first duty station and a continuation of Dr. Marshall's research career in Norfolk, VA. With always having multiple pets growing up, from snakes to monitors to fish and dogs, and after working with animals on a daily basis for nearly a decade, Dr. Marshall realized his true calling was to pursue a career as a veterinarian where he could positively impact the lives of both animals and their owners. Looking back at his journal from first grade, he had written "veterinarian" for what he wanted to be when he grew up. After graduating with his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine degree from Virginia Tech, he started working as an Associate Veterinarian at a hospital in Mandeville, LA. Having a practice of his own at Brownswitch Pet Hospital has been the ultimate achievement for Dr. Marshall and he will be here when you need him most, to provide the utmost caring and compassionate veterinary care for your four-legged, feathered, and/or scaly members of your family.
Dr. Marshall now resides in Lacombe along with Clare, who still serves in the US Air Force Reserves, their four kids, two rambunctious doodles, and the occasional farm animal.
